We are seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced individuals for the provision of an independent and professional clerking and governance support service to the Governing Body and its committees.

 

This is a key role in supporting effective governance through providing:

·         High quality administrative support to the Governing Body and its committees

·         Manage information effectively and maintain records in accordance with legal requirements

·         Ensure the business of the Governing Body is conducted and recorded smoothly and efficiently

·         Advice to the Governing Body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters

The role is part time and flexible, aligned to the college governance calendar and would suit an experienced school governance Clerk or someone with relevant governance experience.

The hours of work required for the role will be in the region of 140 hours per year, as agreed with the Chair of Governors.  The hours will include approximately 50 hours of clerking in person meetings.  The remaining hours can be undertaken flexibly and remotely.   

The salary for the right candidate will be in the region of £30 per hour, paid hourly.

TEACHER OF SCIENCE

The college is seeking a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher to join our science department. Successful applicants would be required to teach science at key stages 3 and 4.
