Office Assistant
We are looking to appoint an Office Assistant to join our busy team of staff that are committed to supporting our college. The successful candidates will need to be efficient, customer focussed and able to work accurately, by providing general administrative support to the whole college community. They will also support the provision of a friendly and efficient reception service for the College as and when required and provide back-up first aid.
The hours of work will be part-time 30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year plus 5 staff training days, Monday to Friday, 8.00 am to 2.30 pm with a half hour lunch break.
The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (Point 5 to 6), and the actual salary for the roles will be £17,783.10 to £18,065.32 (under 5 years continuous service) and £18,021.80 to £18,307.80 (over 5 years continuous service).

HIGHER LEVEL TEACHER ASSISTANT (HLTA)
We are seeking a dynamic and highly IT-literate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students through tailored interventions in subject areas such as English, Maths, and Social Communication, and will be instrumental in customising digital and physical learning resources to meet individual learning needs.
Qualifications Required
- GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths.
- HLTA/L4 Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to achieve it within 12 months of appointment.
Pay and Hours
Pay Band: Scale 5 (scp 9 to 12), £27,254 to £28,598.
Hours: 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time plus five staff training days (39 weeks total). Working between 8:55 am to 3:30 pm, with one afternoon until 4:00 pm.
Actual Salary:
- £17,681.66 to £18,553.61 (under 5 years’ service)
- £17,919 to £18,802.65 (over 5 years’ service)
