Higher Level Teacher Assistant (HLTA)
We are seeking a dynamic and highly IT-literate Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to
join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting students
through tailored interventions in subject areas such as English, Maths, and Social
Communication, and will be instrumental in customising digital and physical learning
resources to meet individual learning needs.
The successful candidate will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or
equivalent, in English and Maths. Additionally, the successful candidate will hold the HLTA/L4
Teaching Assistant qualification or be willing to achieve it within 12 months of appointment.
The pay band for the role is Scale 5 (scp 9 to 12), which is £27,254 to £28,598
The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be
required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total), working between the hours
of 8.55 am to 3.30 pm, with one afternoon working to 4.00 pm.
The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £17,681.66 to £18,553.61, (under 5
years’ service) or £17,919 to £18,802.65 (over 5 years’ service).

Kitchen Assistant
We are looking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant for our small catering team.
The hours of work will be 20 per week, Monday to Friday, 10.30 am to 2.30 pm each day and will be required term time (38 weeks), plus 3 staff training days.
The pay band for the role is Scale 2, pay point 4 to 5 which is £25,185 to £25,583 FTE
The actual pro rata salary for the role is £11,540.42 to £11,722.79 for under five years' service and £11,697.07 to £11,881.92 for over five years' service.

Design Technology Technician
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic technician to join our small team. The successful candidate will have experience of working within a Design and Technology classroom or be willing to learn. The post involves supporting the Design and Technology department in the delivery of teaching, by maintaining stock, preparing resources, cleaning and clearing away lesson materials as directed by teaching staff and department needs. The post holder is required to have DATA certification for the machinery used in college- this is arranged as part of the employment if the candidate is not already in possession of certification.
The successful applicant will be a team player, organised, with good time management skills, and possess a good sense of humour.
The hours of work will be 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8.00 am to 4.00 pm. The specific days and working hours are flexible within the needs of the timetable and availability of the successful candidate. This role is term time only, 38 working weeks per year.
The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (scp 6 to 7), which is £25,989 to £26,403. The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £11,720.23 to £11,881.89, (under 5 years’ service) or £11906.93 to £12,071.16 (over 5 years’ service).
