We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive LSA (Withdrawal Support) to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our pupils with learning difficulties and disabilities.
The successful candidate will need to have GCSE qualification grade C/level 5 or above, or equivalent, in English and maths and the ability to build positive relationships with children and young people. They will work in partnership with class teachers and the SENDCo, to support learning in line with the national curriculum, codes of practice and the college’s policies and procedures; and to deliver interventions to small groups of students who have learning, behavioural, communication, social, sensory or physical difficulties.
The pay band for the role is Scale 5 (scp 8 to 11), which is £20,493 - £21,748.
The hours of work for the role will be 28 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days (39 weeks in total), between hours of 08.55 am and 3.30 pm, plus 4pm one day a week.
The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £13,235.82 to £14,046.39 (under 5 years’ service) or £13,414.28 to £14,235.78 (over 5 years’ service).
