We are looking to appoint a practising Catholic, who as a chaplaincy worker will further develop and enhance the spiritual, liturgical and prayer life of the college.
The successful candidate must be a practising Roman Catholic committed to supporting the inclusive Catholic nature of the college and spiritual journey of the members of its community.
The main purpose of the role will be to provide spiritual and pastoral support to the students of the college, bearing witness to the mission statement and maintaining and enhancing the distinctive Catholic nature of the college.
We are also offering to support the successful candidate in undertaking the School Chaplaincy and Youth Ministry PG Certificate at St Mary’s University from September 2022.
The pay band for the role is Scale 7 (scp 19 to 24), which is £25,481 to £28,672.
The hours of work for the role will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five staff training days, so 39 weeks in total. Flexibility will be required and we would also welcome part time applications as well.
The actual salary for the role (inclusive of holiday pay) is £21,747.31 to £24,580.71 (under 5 years’ service) or £22,040.53 to £24,885.67 (over 5 years’ service).
